BLOWN CELEB (Long Beach, CA) – Marathon Man /// UndergroundHipHopBLOG.comPosted: March 7, 2013
Dynamic duo Roc Holiday aka Dizzy Dustin and Swiss Precise put together the long overdue project “Blown Celeb”! Swiss Precise, was a staple in the the LB graff scene. Since ‘83, he’s been the hand-style epitomist, from tagging, bombing, and wild-style pieces; he was, epicly, the 1ST in u.s. history to receive 2 felonies for graffiti. In 1991, he opened up a few legal, graff yards with Skez One. He’s infused slews of talent to Long Beach, including NASA, AWR, MSK, KAWS, DF, CBS and WCA, just to name a few. Swiss also known for his loose but on point flow conquers tracks with a voice that will make Barry White say “show your right”. His latest projects include The Halfway House Emcees, Community Service and The Fortyseven. Roc Holiday also known as Dizzy Dustin from the Long Beach group Ugly Duckling, has a career that stretches back about as far as the eye can see. Having been fully immersed in hip hop culture from a young age, rhyming has always been second nature for Diz. Growing up on the north side of Long Beach gave him the chance to sharpen and hone his unique flow into a style that would stand the test of time. From the days of chillin on the couch in the back house to touring around the globe, Roc Holiday has turned a lifelong passion into his profession. After dropping 5 quality albums with UD, Holiday is ready to branch out, using what he has learned during his time as a student of the game, Blown Celeb are ready to take matters into their own hands. “From the land of the gold rush to the land of the cold crush” BC is ready to go head to head with the best of them!
